I disagree. I don't consider what you said a spoiler but please be careful you don't spoil the next chaps. Thanks for the translation
Another ntr-bait troupe and next chapter until ch9 still doesn't look good either or even much worse, just be prepare.
and the way Rui was showing affection was so cute too, the way she was staring intensely at him, comforting him when he was crying, the blush at the end too!!! GOD this chapter was so darn cuteHonestly! It was so nice seeing Kyousuke realise that Rui is the only one who gets to decide who to be with, and decide to live up to the fact she wants to be with him.
The flip side of that is Itsuki doing the exact opposite - its nice thematic mirroring even if it's not very subtle.
there was a comedy tag? This ain't worth the comedy tag anymore
is there a hyper emotional autism? (sorry please dont yell at me)they both have autism
Yeah I thought Rui was on the spectrum from the beginning, and now I can see it presenting in Kyousuke too, but in all the ways it doesn't in Rui.No wait because I was literally thinking the exact same thing. It's just two sides of the same damn coin 💀
Pretty much what I'm thinking right now.Ex-kun doesnt love her... he loves him
Good point about Rui's non-verbal expressions of feeling, it's good that she feels it she just needs to realize it.Getting mixed feelings on how this is going now.
1. Femboy ex is an annoying creep, bud you dated her for 2 months years ago because she presents as a tomboy and you're in the closet, get the fuck over it and realize you like dick already.
2. Kyousuke is too much of a wussy around this girl who has been his best friend for years, is constantly making dumb assumptions, and when he has a decent realization for a split second he backtracks with an emotional outburst.
3. Rui is basically the saving grace, despite being emotionally denser than a neutron star she's showing signs of opening up with clearer signs of character development even if she can't articulate it fully yet (lots of non-verbal signals).
Problem we have here is that so far there are only 4 characters introduced and 3 of them are being annoying or otherwise tip the scale into un-likeability. I'll give this femboy NTR/sabotage arc a chance but the predictable routes it could go are limited and most likely ends up as a catalyst for Rui & Kyousuke getting closer and solidifying their relationship becoming more "real".
feels like authors have a lot more trouble writing compelling development that would stem more from within the characters / relationship, or with relatively minor outside influences, so instead they tend to opt for various external factors and tropes with the subtlety of a wrecking ballwhy must there always be some sort of homewrecker
