Well, several points:
First, the author is good at making things have an abhorrent and repulsive feel at times. The mosquitos' both human and bug face are stuff I'd like to punch and stay away from.
Second, so Kemono are stronger when acting on their desires and instincts? If so, that means a kemono fallen to the thirst [if such a thing can happen. Like with that deer. (What was that guy, anyways? He seemed pretty similar to a Ghoul in attributes but was a deer. Just a supernatural beast I guess?)] or gone crazy on whatever desire is a bigger pain to deal with than a normal kemono, right?
