Without any spoilers how is the progression pace in this manga? Just on a scale of bad to good. I really liked Jitsu wa so I've been letting this one sit for a bit

Progress isn't the point, it's the funny reactions of the 3 bystanders on the many issues the boy and the girl have in their daily routine of going to the same train to go to different schools

TLDR: Really Good!!

Don't mind the other answers, by comparison with the other popular rom-coms this goes pretty fast. It's just that in this manga they start as complete strangers instead of already knowing each other.

This manga is a slow burn just like most other rom-coms but in never stalls on useless filler side-plots. It is very to the point so it actually ends up steadily moving forward. Jitsu wa also continued considerably long after the main couple starts dating, so Masuda Eiji won't fall for the pervasive incetive in the rom-com genre to just stall forever before the confesion.
