IMO, it's people overreacting and "bringing the drama" to a different comment section that has nothing to do with it.

Ok I apologize for bringing drama but let me explain, since I don't think these things are unrelated imo and gauging the reactions, it's a worthy discussion. Just inherently along with Hyper Go Home Club all starting not far off from each other with the same thematic fluff therapy, they're bound to have overlapping viewership. Like me, checking my library yesterday to see the two series have back to back updates, I'll hang around for Yom's with interest albeit betrayed, but imma save the best for last with this chapter, thanks for the healing author/scan team🙏

Now, from my prospective, Hyper go home club and Imasara have nothing similar. The first one is indeed fluffly (a fluffy SoL that is moving to fluffy romance). While Imasara was more comedy than fluffy. All I personally saw, was the "comedy" of a girl struggling with what looked like her first unilateral love...and Hikari was funny. But I also agree that what was said in the last chapter took a complete different route from the light-hearted one it started and it can be considered bad writing. But it's also true that the drama started a couple of chapters before, with the kiss, not with Yami's "hypothetical" story. My "problem" with it is the people going "My FlUfFy Is RuInEd!!" "FL was first!! The others are scum" "I rEmEmBeR ThIs HaD A rAtInG oF 9 LmAo". Reminds of the whole huge shitstorm for Tsukimi with Senga first appearance...where it seems author was forced to make a public excuse or something. That's parasocial behavior IMO.

Stripped bare, they're all highschool girl-boy 'will they, won't they' wholesome stories.
My point about these two series having a same day upload is being ignored. I just thought it was a funny anecdote that Imasara is no longer that wholesome story but at least we can still rely on this.
