It was tagged as gender bender, which im not really a fan of but that was an intriguing read. I don’t think they would hire a crossdresser at a girl’s bar (but that’s may be my ignorance talking)? I’m gonna stick around for a bit, i kinda like the ”i love the person not the gender” and mc's reaction to the possibility of being gay.

This person was a "new hire" at the bar so they could have already been stalking her and overheard the coworkers when they originally got her to agree to take them to the bar at a later time.

Either that was done in a public place or it's possible they also have an identity at the workplace and know her from work originally. She's apparently hard to ask out because she doesn't notice when it's happening. Someone might be taking on the challenge. Which means the there's more than a good chance the original train platform situation was designed as well.
