Was kinda hoping he'd be absent from the story for longer. Feels pretty anticlimactic for him to just show up again.

Yeah, I see him as final boss territory, at least strength-wise. Would have liked some more time away from him as well. Personally I think it's a product of the publisher only greenlighting this series by the volume. Author would have more breathing room if they could plan more than a couple chapters in advance.

Oh good other people have already vocalized about the status quo not changing and how Dante is back again for some reason. Ah well, they're getting back into it after thinking it'd only be a short series, if they gotta rollback some stuff, so be it. I trust that we'll be rolling into new territory soon

Ashera, stop being scared by your own & just be honest with your feelings as father, damn it. His reflexive act is always protecting them when in danger (he pulled them behind him when Dante suddenly appeared). So sweet, but heartbreaking because he's still scared by his children
