Boss is all business when it comes to protecting his kids. After next chapter we will be caught up with current release and finished with volume 2. Author wasn't sure if this was going to be continued when they were writing this, so they wanted to pull out all the stops and let boss shine and I quite like that decision.

RIP Bor-kun has been trained too well he no longer responds to his old name.
That said why is daddy afraid of the two when he's so strong.

I am so surprised that he is actually capable! I'm guessing that the time limit and 2 opponents would prevent him from being able to control the situation. That or he does actually think of them as family which is a weakness he can't accept which is why he wants them gone.

Ngl I wouldn't mind this being a one or two volume series. I'd rather have one really solid volume than it being dragged out longer than it needs to be. Any seemingly loose ends have been rooted in just wanting to know more cause we like them, rather than because it is critical to understanding them. All in all, if it ended next chapter, I would be satisfied, but I'm glad we got more. For now.

I wouldn't blame anyone for treating this as completed after next chapter. Not because it doesn't have potential because I think it has ridiculous potential, but because chapter 9 ends in such a satisfying way. With so much love and care put into these characters though, I'm very happy we're getting more chapters going forward to explore them!
