Yeah I'm pretty confused as to where the series is going from here considering this seems like a fairly final fight, but maybe we'll get some jump ins or more pit fights.

Well I recall him saying to me when I asked about it that he'll write it for as long as it sells. Which is understandable considering it's likely his most popular manga ever (I don't know how much he makes collabing on that yuri harem manga). So suffice to say we're in kick-the-can-down-the-road mode plot wise.
two chapters.. thank you for your work.. wish i could say the same to the author. seemly they got no goal and just decided to make this very... weird and stupid.
this manga is more like a LSD insanity at this point.

I'm feeling like the author was planning on ending this with the defeat of the dinosaurs but either sales or popularity spiked and the editor/publisher told them that it would be a waste to end it. So now we have these "origin beasts" that look like they are going to literally be mythological creatures rather than normal animals.
Bet the girl in the kimono is a nine-tailed fox or something and the other ones are also various legendary beasts/yokai.

Its interesting because earlier it sounded like there was gonna be another tournament. But I kind of wonder if its merely just everyone showing up to cheer the final grudge match. I was thinking about how its very possible that the beastification of humanity is not really a concern to most of the cast as they're already beastmen. So there may be no motivation for them to fight against that trend. The only characters I can think of that aren't beastmen are Shido and Oshie. So it could genuinely end with, "And the winner is Pure (Or Hitomi but I feel like the momentum of the manga is on Pure's side)" and then btw everyone else became beastmen and the origin beasts became the top of society yada yada.

I thought Hitomi or Beagle would have character development at somepoint, but I guess they're just always going to be idiots. And I guess Notomo is still around dudes been less of a character than the Fox and Bunny girl for the last "arc".

If Shidou wanted, he could have Yuuya get a "crow's eye view" from his cuckoo chair while Shidou makes some more Honey badgers of his own
