On one hand, avoiding talking about something you kind of need to isn't good. On the other, I'm not sure they need to. And it's kind of real.
That coffee is tilted.
Totally fair way to decide who to talk first.
Bit late for this kind of story. Though better late than never.
Immortal, but at least she grew up.
From a dramatic end, to a comedic awakening. Series hasn't changed one bit.
That's mean. Hitting her with that hammer.
Well, one end is another beginning. But at least they get to die. Eventually.

pretty sure the author ended it the way they wanted it to, if im remembering right this series started on 2016 so im sure the author is not like rushing or anything
Thank you to the author, to the typesetter, to the translator, to the artist and everyone who made this series possible, this manga is a rare gem that gripes with the concept of time and immortality while giving its own meaning to life, granted its not some shakespear or greek philosophy on life but the point of view of how the characters lived or living their life made for some thought provoking questions that made me and others im sure reflect on their own
Im kinda sad that it didn't really explore the connection it had with the authors other works but the ending still gave enough to puzzle and think over with

It was originally planned to be 6 volumes long. Publisher wanted to axe it after 3 volumes. It was only after the author used their own money to make an animated trailer for the manga that there was enough interest to barely be able to do volumes 4 & 5.

That's a fairly common theme with immortality stories. It's not specifically that they want to die, but rather that they want to live a normal human life before finally dying at the end of it (see also, Mermaid Saga, etc.)

I wish the author got the recognition they deserve...
The art, the world building, the story it's all phenomenal in such short serialization.

Took the time to re-read everything from the beginning and I must say I really loved this story.
The ending felt a bit disappointing when I first read it. But after taking the time to get close to these characters and this world again, I am really happy with it.
Of course I would have liked it if the author had more time, and fleshed out some things further. But similarly to the moral of the chapter where our heroes meet the crazed artist, what mattered was the emotional resonance with the characters. Not all the little details.
