She cant die. So technically 0% chance for casualties on her part. Also, sending out the invincible target allows information to be gathered without much compensation. She now has learned new magic to practice at almost 0 cost on her part. Thinking of her as an object for use makes her very valuable and dependable in almost every conflict (especially with her seemingly good success rate). Is it cruel? Yes, very. But it is not wasteful. Wars are won by the survivors. She is a guaranteed survivor.

Sending someone with better education/training may be ideal, but you use what you have at the time. Training will come, and she is even getting real practice in real scenarios. No one pulls their punches, risks are involved (to an extent for an immortal).

@JavelinJoe @throughstars yeah I know she is immortal, I should have been a bit more clear, my b. In the early chapters they said that every day the class gets smaller because her classmates are sent to the battlefield and she could be called at anytime. That's what I was talking about.

It's a pretty old saying that's kinda self explanatory. If you want to maintain peace, you might as well need to enforce it. After all, a desire for peace is a pretty selfish wish as it is something that affects a ton of fucking people, between them those who may NOT want peace.

So, the inevitability here is that most wars end on surrender or complete slaughter of one of the parts. The situations where they actually come to an agreement are not only too little to compare and call it a standard process, but also kinda recent. I say this coming from a country that just "made peace" after a 50+ years war, and that now has a government that wants to boicot it.

Honestly, fuck those guys.
