Howdy y'all Kiwi here,

The last two months have been pretty crazy. I'm ashamed to admit I've been playing catchup most of that time and haven't been able to focus on this as much as I'd like. I kept telling myself "maybe this weekend, if I can finish [homework]." And uhhh.... well it took until fall break to actually put this out.

God I hope the only reason the author's bringing Ao's narcissistic ex back into the picture is so he or nina can tell her off when she inevitably tries to manipulate him again and so he can get over his trauma.... Also FINALLY an MC that absolutely refuses to do anything with a minor and a FMC that respects that and doesn't force herself on him before she becomes an adult AND is already financially independent so there's no gross power imbalance messing up the fluffy romance!

Realistically speaking, the ex would never try to get back together with the MC. She's even leaving her new man because his businesses didn't go as well she expected. Why would she even think of going back to some lowly part-timer? She merely said she wouldn't have left Aoba if she had known this ending beforehand. That being said, since she was shown, perhaps she will spy Aoba with Nina. Unless she's utterly evil, not just a gold digger, she shouldn't do anything about it, though.
