Okay, but what shit is the dad also pulling? The thing he is most obviously guilty of is basically abandoning his broken family and focusing on work, but I bet there's something way worse he's up to since he's barely been acknowledged. My money's on a second family/mistress.

honestly I can't help but feel bad for the mother, obviously the dad is a piece of shit that doesn't seem to care about his family, I bet Clover told him to cheat. and the mother is mentally broken by everything. I honestly hope she gets better.

So with so many saying in previous chapters that Uichi is the mastermind, Yotsuba is the mastermind or Fuu-chan her hacker friend is the mastermind sorry but I find all three bogus. Uichi has not the personality for this, I can sadly speak from experience that the last that he want or being capable of is doing all the things to make himself bullied even if it is his past self. Yotsuba is feeling to guilty for this and Fuu-Chan does not look like this and would be to easy. So given how much the mastermind know about Uichi's family it would leave me to two option, either someone else from the elementary school who would despise him just for the focus of two wonderful girls and is such a shit person that thinks those with too much luck should die miserable.
Or as another option I would say the one giving Yotsuba the time machine.
My impression would be that this is all some elaborated test for inheritance.
What I mean is that just because Yotsuba grew up in an Orphanage, it may not mean she has no parents. I think that Yotsuba's father intentionally left her behind because he became like Seto Kaiba or Jonathan Heart rich as an orphan and is so convinced his inheritor need to be an orphan too. But because he is an arrogant prick, he is not just wanting her to grow up as an orphan, no she needs to prove she has the mind capeable of using the watch to the best.
It may be that she either need some resilience to go over and over again or it may be that her rewinds are limited so if she really wants to rescue him she could then not find out the perfect route to make him happy but need to compromise by making her hands dirty so that people like Yae will not be crushad mentally but instead to take the short and eficient route of orchestering a deadly "accident".

Well, so far Clover must knew about ML since kids bc he knew about Yae's obsession and used it to hurt ML. At least Clover isn't from highschool. Also she or he knows ML's sister, they play games together and chat a ton, and we saw she received the sns from clover since ML was a kid, so Clover must be some childhood 'friend' of them or someone from the future that knows everything from the past or at least lived the Bad ending route of ML, so he secured all the bad things to happen to secure the bad ending route. Anyways, it's a good read.

We need to understand everything Yotsuba knows so far. For example, shes aware that the sister is f*cked up, but for some reason shes not aware of why. I feel like she would have naturally stumbled upon the fact that his sister was messaging the mastermind, yet she remains completley unaware of that.

Also, the mastermind themselves. How can you hate a child this much?? They started before his sister was even in high school, which means they've wanted Uichi dead since he was a kid. And it cant be something like "oh its just fun to torment him" because of their intelligence. They are scarily smart, so even if they wanted to torment him out of fun, they wouldnt because that brings too much risk to themselves, even with all the steps taken for their own anomity. Either we have a complete psycho who got a messed up view of the world fron a young age because of their intelligence, or Uichi did something that so bad in their eyes that its irredeemable.

Sister is thoroughly spoiled, but not by her parents or brother, or even those former friends...
The offset of tone and art style to the full scope of the deeper plot really makes this worth reading, especially since this isn't some easily-fixed "I had all the answers from the start" shitty timeline plot.
Gets full marks from me, looking forward to the next chapters.

I wonder if she knows that her computer and switch is fine, just need a new keyboard (if it’s mechanical it might be fine lmao)
It's pouring down into the tower, there's a vent on the top.
It's really not fine, probably.

Thanks for the chapter

Honestly this manga is really mid right now. It's just a bunch of shallow evil people being mean to the ML so the MC can come in and save him. It doesn't feel like this story has any core theme tying it together.
Im a little late, but that's what this has been from the start. Everyone in his life being irredeemable in the very first chapter should've been pretty indicative of what the quality of this was going to be. Its schlocky fun, see how stupid it can get and all that.

I wonder just what happened to Uichi's family to end up in a state like this. The mastermind is probably behind all the change.
Yeah same, but the mastermind must be hating like it’s a full-time job 🤣, I mean idk if they’re related, but even the mom was on her phone, perhaps talking to the mastermind too

This is my first time noticing Uichi doesn't look like shit anymore, and somehow it's somewhat disconcerting. :wtf:

When Uichi sees the photograph, he mentions "recent memories," but when he talks about the "chains" it sounds like he's talking about his past memories with his family. Possible mistranslation?

New font does look different from before, but not enough I would've noticed without being told.

One major key in all of this is the complete lack of a strong father figure to lead the family. In fact, the vast majority of the issues could've easily been resolved if the father was in their lives beyond just being a paycheck for the family (as is being currently insinuated with all the context we've gotten thus far). With a strong father figure to whip Utako into shape with a maximum dose of tough love, Clover never would've instilled such sophistic drivel into her mind.

A lazy, entitled person is only lazy and entitled because there's someone (or something; e.g. government) in their life that ENABLES them to be lazy and entitled in the first place. Both parents lacked the courage to properly discipline Utako, as well as showing her that she could open up to them about being lazy and not wanting to do anything without judging her when she started rebelling.

We see it all too often that parents just don't want to listen to their children because parents almost always believe that, just because they are older, they are automatically wiser more knowledgeable and know what's best for their children (even moreso in asian countries). A complete breakdown in communication between parent and child very often leads to children rebelling against their overbearing tyrannical parents (who mistakenly think they are doing what's best for the child when that's about the furthest thing from the truth as possible). Pair up the lack of communication with enabling the actions to continue and you have a recipe of what you see in this manga.
