She's purposely being dumb. Saika knows that there's only one person that can scratch her. Kuroe is her spare "body" to which she gave her original body to Mushiki to avoid "death".

I assume Kuroe doesn't have any memories of Saika that weren't backed up and thus when Saika 'died' Kuroe only has the memories until she was last backed up. Maybe I'm wrong though

I am just curious how this is gonna continue. Like I have read ahead, but it is still confusing to me. I hope the parts I missed due to not fully knowing japanese will come when it is translated. With her fusing her body with him, makes it sound like it is now apart of him and it can't separate XD. Well... it will take a while to find out but...
