The characters thought processes are bit weird to me.
the student was faceblind and thought Clark was her ex, but they immediately assume that the girl the student saw was a shapeshifter who could change their appearance? And then somehow deduce that not only is someone possibly targeting Clark, but that it's also their client? There was also the line about someone encouraging her to jump too, but still seems like a weird line of logic
