I'm glad he decided to stay... I guess he finally found a way to keep going forward without having such a lofty goal like 'Going to America to Kiss Angelina Jolie'.
I scarcely find myself able to cry to media these days, and this is no different, but even so I feel that I should have. Great paneling from the mangaka, and it was a nice mystery to unravel.
It was quite heartbreaking to see the reasons for his wanting to block out reality. Poor guy had a horrible childhood and even then, he never blamed his mother, never hated her, and only remembered her with rose-tinted glasses. But things will get better now. He can finally just have fun and live normally.
I hope they enjoy that movie they're going to watch.
