Kenta, there's no such thing as fucking up now.

Man, I love cooking, especially for family. It's the kind of motivation you don't even feel. Something primal makes you do the best you can or those you love, even when it's shit. Kenta has a seasoned mentor and a love that there is no greater; he will be fine in short time. I just hope he doesn't measure himself by Kiyo's standards.

Ain't nobody a Kiyo-chan but Kiyo. And if not my DMs are open for wife submissions.

Chef is right... the capacity to deal with frustration is essential for works like this.

On that, Kenta has one of the most important fundamentals.

Always embarrassing to have your parents show up at your workplace. Before I became severely disabled (and can no longer work) I was a manager of 14 people and when my parents visited me I wanted to hide in the corner. They, too, were unconvinced I was good at my job. Good for Kenta for stepping up to show his skill to his family!

It's nice to see how much the Chefs on his side here. And honestly I think he's right- someone who comes at something as a beginner and is OK with patiently doing the basics forever? thats gold.

After all, if you make comics set in school you also gotta draw chairs, you know?
