If you're not aware, consider yourself warned: the artist behind this is a fat fetishist who can't keep it under control long enough to stick to canonical character designs--consequently, Lucoa is frequently depicted as a graceless porker in this manga. Cool should have commissioned a better artist--one that isn't an utter slave to his own twisted libido.

"Delusional"? Sure--but only in the mind of one blind to plainly observable truth: multiple chapters depict Lucoa with the folds of an ungainly and unsightly paunch--one she does not have according Cool-kyou Shinja's work; in addition, look up Utamaro's Pixiv, if not his X account as well--it's rife with such morbid paunches and potbellies.

You would not see them as such if you were conditioned to be blinded by such a fetish, like he is; that, or by the HAES dogma.

Lucoa might be the true Eminence In The Shadows that would've shocked even Cid Kagenou.
There are so many hints about how absurd her existence is, and yet she plays an uninterested horni idiot so well that no one even considers she might be tilting the scales of the world behind everyone's back. Or even in the plain sight in front of everyone's eyes, but she makes them forget. She wields unlimited powers of creation, reality manipulation that make joke of space and time, and hypnosis that don't even rely on the divinity. THAT IS NOT EVEN A SECRET.
And everything she did from the very beginning of their world, was for the benefit and improvement of it.
She once gave a hint that she helped the development of the society even after stepping down as a goddess.
Even her backstory about cursed alcohol feels like something crafted by influencing or playing along with Tezcatlipoca's plot to use as an excuse for her to create distance away from her religion and younger sister that grew too dependent on her. (I know that it is based on actual Quetzalcoatl mythos, but that does not stops Cool Kyou to make his own spin on it)
She is even the strongest among the gods of creation in their dimension, and by a huge margin as it was mentioned, which makes me think that she even manipulated them into believing that they are on the same level, so that she can hide that she is the one true origin of their world and that they are just administrators whom she gave authority.
She even made the Spectator faction for the dragons, so that she can solidify her image as "neutral", and create a space for the dragons that don't want to be part of hostilities or to interact with the world.
And yet that neutrality and abstinence from influencing things was shown to be not really accurate in the battle with Kimuin Kamui, where she was briefly shown to use her powers from where she can not be seen, to nudge things slightly in Kobayashi's favor. You can even see that her odd eye is doing something unusual, and is most probably a limiter she put on herself to reduce or lock away her powers. It was also one of the rare moments where she showed cold demeanor, as she is always seem cheerful. And nether her actions or words at that moment were ever mentioned by anyone else.
Lucoa may even be just pretending that she is a dragon because it is easier for her to move around and interact with her creations while still justifying her absurd powers
I'm like 99% tripping, but there are too many things about her that seem very, very odd, even by this comic's silly common sense.
Be silly like me and do a re-read of the whole series again while focusing on mysterious events, Lucoa related stuff, while keeping in mind her powers, and tell me am I crazy.
