Having someone send you messages about their day is awesome. And when there's so many texts of that nature, there's normally no obligation to respond. He should've made that clear to the sender. Senpai should've also limited it to a number above one per day if he really wanted to set a limit.
This girl might be too pure to turn yandere. I think he should go for it and slowly condition acceptable behavior, just like with the texts. Although, I think that could've been done much better, as well.

This is a yandere. It's just that they are usually portrayed as knifederes instead. Every time I see a hyper violent "yandere" that just attacks everyone for no reason at all, I feel like screaming at the idiot who wrote a character that makes no sense, and just has a severe mental health issue and anger management issues, and then chose to call them a yandere. Everyone always forgets that it's a yanDERE, with the dere part being the main part of them, yandere is a sub category of dere.
Saying "Only send one a day" makes no sense and it was obvious would result in this considering how obsessed she is. Why didn't he say to just send one at a time and wait for him to reply which is common sense texting etiquette anyway
