Probably not. I think they just look alike. This could be intentional on the author's part—maybe he deliberately made them similar—or it could be that he just tends to draw female characters in a similar style. Either way, Isshiki is definitely not Ayano’s father. He’s 27, and she’s 13, so there’s a 14-year gap between them.

Yeah, you're right. He has the characteristics I REMEMBER, glasses, parted hair, scraggily facial hair, but they're different people. You see it in their eyes and eyebrows.

I at least hope people can see why I saw Umeda and went "OH SHIT SO THAT'S WHO HE MET THAT CHAPTER"

That’s very true. On the other hand if you put “proudly crafted in Beijing, China” or “this took 30 years to make by [insert generic Japanese name here]”, I bet a product would sell a lot more in capital cities across Europe and America, regardless of if it’s false advertising or an actual luxury good xD
