Emphasis on nothing. Though I'd go as far to say, he did wrong, because he did not do enough (for her).Fumi did nothing wrong.

She didn't want to cut the relationship off, she kinda just went with his wishes by wishing to stay in the industry, and not getting too close (since she thought he was not interested. After all, she only blocked him after realizing he wouldn't actually come to see her (after all was said and done). She was interested in more than friendship, and I guess that was her test. Def not the best way to do things, but him not even seeing or calling her signalled that he doesn't care.Fumi literally didn't do anything wrong. Imagine essentially cutting a relationship off and thinking he would come back and "save" them in their time of need after the fact.
This is my best feelings on the matter. Sure, going over to her place whilst people were watching may have been risky, but he could've at least waited until the low-life paparazzi gave up stalking her premises, whilst texting or somehow communicating to her that he was going to come over, it's just that if he did at that very moment, things would just become worse for her with the public.I want to cut him some slack and I really want to understand the conundrum he found himself into, but at the end of the day it was all lack of balls, he both didn't do anything wrong and he did everything wrong.
if she confessed to him and then he doesn't answer, I'd get it, but she hasn't told him
there was literally nothing he could do about the current situation
he both didn't do anything wrong and he did everything wrong
Also ye Fumi was mega pathetic and only cares about himself which would be fine but then why waste an idol's time by wooing her like he did. Sucks but hopefully things will be better.
You're thinking only of the outcome and not the lingering issue that plagued their entire "relationship". Fumi never wanted to commit or see Akari for who she was. He placed walls and barriers around them right until the very end.
Now that is fine. What's not fine is that he chose to do things half-assed. He'd still see Akari. He'd still see her dad, because being with them actually made him happy, yet would still reject them if things got uncomfortable. It is entirely a matter of communication and ignoring the real feelings of the people he's associating with because of his own fragile self-esteem.
It's a bad look no matter how you slice it. Akari cannot be blamed one bit for her choice.
