Emphasis on nothing. Though I'd go as far to say, he did wrong, because he did not do enough (for her).Fumi did nothing wrong.

She didn't want to cut the relationship off, she kinda just went with his wishes by wishing to stay in the industry, and not getting too close (since she thought he was not interested. After all, she only blocked him after realizing he wouldn't actually come to see her (after all was said and done). She was interested in more than friendship, and I guess that was her test. Def not the best way to do things, but him not even seeing or calling her signalled that he doesn't care.Fumi literally didn't do anything wrong. Imagine essentially cutting a relationship off and thinking he would come back and "save" them in their time of need after the fact.
This is my best feelings on the matter. Sure, going over to her place whilst people were watching may have been risky, but he could've at least waited until the low-life paparazzi gave up stalking her premises, whilst texting or somehow communicating to her that he was going to come over, it's just that if he did at that very moment, things would just become worse for her with the public.I want to cut him some slack and I really want to understand the conundrum he found himself into, but at the end of the day it was all lack of balls, he both didn't do anything wrong and he did everything wrong.
if she confessed to him and then he doesn't answer, I'd get it, but she hasn't told him
there was literally nothing he could do about the current situation
he both didn't do anything wrong and he did everything wrong
Also ye Fumi was mega pathetic and only cares about himself which would be fine but then why waste an idol's time by wooing her like he did. Sucks but hopefully things will be better.
You're thinking only of the outcome and not the lingering issue that plagued their entire "relationship". Fumi never wanted to commit or see Akari for who she was. He placed walls and barriers around them right until the very end.
Now that is fine. What's not fine is that he chose to do things half-assed. He'd still see Akari. He'd still see her dad, because being with them actually made him happy, yet would still reject them if things got uncomfortable. It is entirely a matter of communication and ignoring the real feelings of the people he's associating with because of his own fragile self-esteem.
It's a bad look no matter how you slice it. Akari cannot be blamed one bit for her choice.
he never groomed Ayano at all tho? what the hell have you been reading these past 19+ chapter?? Ayano's the one doing it. Fumi was trying to be the good manager. He never lay hands on her. In fact, she's the one who initiated that which is kinda stupid. I never seen him having any romantic feeling for her since the first chapter. In fact Ayano was the one who's interested in him since the beginning.I didn’t say he was grooming her, I said grooming her was the only option he had left cuz this dumbass, pathetic bastard let go the perfect girl. I don’t wish to see him end with ayano, he deserves to end up all alone. I hope Akari found a good guy on her own and won’t come back to him in the present, like I’m available so why not me ?![]()
That is not what grooming means.Ayano is trying to groom him by doing heavily suggestive actions.
Please enlighten. Grooming's definition has been tainted these days to only mean one thing when it comes to relationships when in reality it's been used in the general nomenclature to mean preparation of someone for a specific event or scenario. i.e. grooming a new employee for a their job or grooming an athlete for a sports event. Hell a girl showing interest in a guy by slowly touching him and showing interest in other subtle actions is also a form of grooming. It's just not negative. That is not what grooming means.
You seem to have mistaken the word 'grooming' for the general term 'manipulation'. While it is true grooming can be used in the context of, say, grooming an heir or employee, that is very clearly not what it means in the context of romantic and sexual relationships. Definitions change in the way people use them, and in relationships grooming is very clearly used in the context of children and vulnerable adults, of which Fumi is neither. It is also almost exclusively used to refer to intentional manipulations for abuse, like isolating the target or coercing them via position of power, neither of which Ayano do.Please enlighten. It doesn't just mean slow sexual exploitation of a child.
In this story Ayano has been doing heavily suggestive acts unknowingly. Fumi of course is the adult here and knows what she's doing but she doesn't and constantly does this. And as later chapters goes by she gets her way. Of course it's portrayed positively as Fumi doing what he can for this lonely young idol but that doesn't change the fact the way she acts and how he responds to appease her isn't just him doing this for his job. If the scenario was reversed we'd all call it grooming. The fact it's a child doing it to an adult doesn't change what is happening.
I don't take the UK seriously as they still classify rape as forcible use of a penis. You seem to have mistaken the word 'grooming' for the general term 'manipulation'.
