He's repeating the same mistake he did with Akari. He's trying to be a "savior" once again and just acting out of selfishness.

If Isshiki continue doing this, he's basically treating Ayano as a "product" now, that's why he started calling her in her stage name (Ayano/あやの). He wants to secure Ayano's future by making her stay in the industry. He wants the world to see how GOOD Ayano's acting is, and by doing this he's also fulfilling his own dream of being a director. And after that, he doesn't mind if he's left empty handed (he said this around Ch20, p25). BUT this is not what Ayano wants. At its core, I think she just simply wants a genuine human connection. Her mother is always busy, and her demand as a child actress is slowly fading. She even thought of quiting showbiz around this time but she decided to continue because Isshiki is working hard for her.

That's why if Isshiki continue doing this, it's gonna be tragic. Ayano would grow as an actress but not as a person. I want her to slap him on the face while she's crying hard and Isshiki would be like: "Huh? Wh-why are you crying? I'm doing this for your sake—" That's the moment the realization will HIT him (literally). And for the first time, we see both of them on an equal footing, not as adult manager/child actress, but just two broken human trying to fix each other. And it's gonna be peak ✋😐🤚
