Mental illness folks. Not a thing to make light of.

Within 30 seconds of me posting this, I refreshed the page and a certain someone who pretended to block me is watching this thread. Curious.

y’all mainlining radioactive egoism, and need to not speak, because at this point I’m starting to think y’all are just transphobic trolls trying to make us look bad.

It’s literally making me sick. My Jew stomach can’t handle this.
Time for fizzygood makefeelnice.
are, you okay..? like what are you even talking about? 😭
And also, idk anything about what the author has said irl. I'm making guesses based on the information the manga has given, like I said, I would be VERY surprised if the author took it down that route. BUT, I still see the possibility from small things in the story and the ending of this chapter.
Like, why are you so mad that people are pointing that out?
I'm gonna stop responding now cause I think you might actually just be schizo from how you are acting and replying 💀

You are making trans people look bad by pushing this boy who has said “I do not wish I was born a girl” into the “girl” box because he like presenting femme.
You are being what TERFs say all trans people are.

”in dress” does not mean “girl”.

The official translation had a first run where the translator for whatever reason changed things to make him written to be a trans girl, and it didn’t take long for the author to make them pull it.
How many tweets have been quoted and translated at the end of chapters saying “I’m writing a story about a boy and a femboy falling in love, and am looking forward to telling the story of what comes after they start dating,” which is an explicit statement that he is a boy.

”stop responding“ implies you responded more than once.

”You strongly disagree, and I didn’t understand this joke. Idiots have made you angry. I can’t understand clearly-written English. You must be mentally ill.” You’re a problem.

To all those people who are also annoyed with the behaviour of these absolute children: WE ARE NOT ALL LIKE THIS. THIS IS A VOCAL MINORITY, AND I HOPE IT IS CLEAR THAT THEY ARE BEYOND ALL REASON AND EVIDENCE AND HAVE BLINDERS AND DEAF EARS TO ANYTHING BUT WHAT THEY WANT.

Please do not judge trans people by the actions of foolish kids.

I thought his throat was sore cause he was sucking off Hiura too much. Swallowing gallons of cum, fresh from the source.

But, it's probably some drama reason. Whatever I guess.

Just hope Midou gets to eventually fuck cute Hiura from behind. With Hiura's soft ass cushioning Midou's thrusts everytime he gets pumped inside of. With Midou dropping a few loads and leaving him gaping when he finishes.

Thanks for the TL
Lol literally "Oh no drama? Anyways..."

😭Stop schizo posting. I never said Hiura wants to be a girl, I never even specifically said anything about trans people. All I said is a see the small possibility that the author might make this ark about Hiura and their identity, which could mean anything between cis, non-binary, and yes trans people. I don't know why you are trying to make this about the trans community and how I'm "making them look bad", if casually pointing out possible outcomes in a story with LGBT+ themes is "making them look bad" then the people who think that need to be judged not trans people. And "foolish kids" ?? 😭you are an old person on the internet mad at people speculating about the end of a chapter that was deliberately ended ambiguously for that reason, what you are doing is so asinine. You are clearly beyond reason and cant seem to understand clearly written english because you've blown this way out of proportion and its honestly making you look schizo 💀 I'm actually gonna stop replying now cause I've spent my last ounce of giving a shit on this stupid convo.

… possible…
FALSE!

You said you were done responding, then did without even any possible justification to yourself for going back on that, as all you did was repeat yourself.

The character himself and the author have clearly stated “this is a boy” and you can’t even be respectful enough to use “he”.

You’re just as bad as the people who still refuse to accept that Bridget is a girl.
Character said it, the creators said it and yet “lalalalala I can’t hear you!”

”you’re old!” …yeah, I am. And?
edit: responds again lol

But its a title told from the viewpoint of another character at the start and how she saw Makoto after being told they were amab. To her Makoto was her "crossdressing sempai" right then.

A title saying Makoto was, more or less, nonbinary(or just still unsure) wouldnt have made much sense at the start.
Makoto isn't nonbinary he says at the ending that he's a boy who likes cute things

As a fujoshi who is aware of the problems with a lot of BL (A LOT of it!), this ain’t BL.

It doesn’t have the structure or character motivations. The focus is on entirely different things.
This is just a romance story (practically shoujo!), but it’s two guys, and one presents in a more uncommon way.

”Crossplay Love” is a gag comedy romance story that’s got queerness. That’s not the main concern. It’s secondary to “hidden identity shenanigans”.

I am so glad same-gender stuff is moving away from genre-pieces, because I would be fine with BL dying off into the wind. Put the queerness in other genres.
We don’t need stories where the guys somehow don’t know about gayness or “onee-sama“ girls school yuri.
Old hat!
Koisuru is BL, what are you talking about?
The author of the work said that they wrote it under the premise of it being an Otokonoko BL
This story has the structure, focus and characters tropes of a conventional BL series all wrapped in the package of Otokonoko

Tbf with the Otokonoko Senpai one, iirc cause I haven't read it in a long time(never watched the anime), I'm pretty sure there was a whole ark about the MC questioning their identity and about whether they wanted to be a girl or just wear cute clothes, and from what I remember that ark ended with the MC basically saying they didn't know and just wanted to live as themselves.
Makoto end the work as a boy and the author intended them as crossdresser

He author has said that Hiura is a boy.
Hiura said Hiura is a boy.
The translation that claimed otherwise got pulled because it “went against the creator’s intentions“.

Him dealing with the effects of puberty after finally finding happiness in his lack of changes is pretty serious, yo.

IT HAS BEEN SPECIFICALLY STATED THAT HE IS NOT TRANS IN REAL LIFE STATEMENTS AND IN THE WORK ITSELF MULTIPLE TIMES.

WE KNOW WHAT THE AUTHOR INTENDS BECAUSE THE AUTHOR HAS SAID WHAT THEY INTEND AND THEY SPECIFICALLY DO NOT INTEND FOR HIM TO BE A GIRL.
It cost a localisation and publishing company money and (iirc) a person their job to correct claims that Hiura is a girl.

Someone lost their source of income and you’re like “well, but maybe the author was trolling us…”?
If you think that, why would you read something written by such an author?!
lil bro is bugging out.

OH GOD.

HE'S BECOMING A MAN.
That's why you hold off on buying the series until it's finished. 80 chapters of false advertising... please no!!! Midou needs to jump between Azusa-sensei and girly-Hiura and shout WAIFU PROTECC!!

I don't really wanna necromance an old thread, but, as a trans girl, I really wanna point out some hypocrisy you keep spouting.

be me, boy highschooler
friend wants to put makeup on me
start experimenting with girl clothes
i feel confident, make more friends and overall happier
i still like being a boy
completely valid conclusion for my identity
one day, doctor implies late puberty
quite literally breakdown on the thought of losing what I've always been, becoming manlier
maybe i wasn't so sure on what i thought my identity was
get kissed by my crush, yippe!

This is at least my interpretation for Hiura and I feel you going "Hiura is a boy. NO MATTER WHAT" is so narrow minded and feels like it's said in bad faith. These types of characters grow and change, it's both a self discovery and romance story for Hiura. It's more than okay for him to choose to have a medical treatment to transition, the same way it's completely okay for him to stay the way he is and accept the changes (if there are any). He is still figuring out himself and putting him in a box "Hiura is a CIS BOY" is just as backwards as someone forcing his story to be about becoming trans. It's also okay for people to wish for the story to go either way, those are called head cannons, and as the name implies, it's something you make up in your mind. Doesn't affect you. Constructive criticism of someone's opinion is okay, but talking the way you did feels very much like the very thing you say you hate when other people say that Hiura might be trans.

Grow up, and hope you become a better person <3

R’’L!!! 🤦‍♀️
THE AUTHOR AND CHARACTER HAVE BOTH CONFIRMED THIS IS A FACT.
Green text all you want, you terminally online, schmendricke putz.

You’re still projecting harder than the back of a cinema. THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOU.
”He’s still figuring hims-“ SHADDAP.
Your point is moot, because we know where the story is going WITH REGARDS TO THIS ONE THING. He’s dealing with concerns about how he looks as he ages. Most people do that at some point. I look younger than I am (EDS. My connective tissue being stretchy and ineffective makes wrinkles not for easily). It leads to really awkward situations and I can’t wait for more grey hairs to grow in “no, this isn’t my daughter, this is my wife” makes everyone uncomfortable until I say I’m 43 and explain why I look this way, that it’s why I’m limping, and that much of my face isn’t even attached to my skull.

We got official spoilers on this point, and I don’t think she’s gonna pull a Yoko Taro and say “G’d you! that was just one timeline!”

You are being exactly like all the dickshits that still insist Bridget is a man.

Want trans or trans coded characters? I’d give you a list, but you’re a moron, so it wouldn’t matter.
Load your head canon with as much funpowder as you want. I think any interpretation is fine. Head canon is just as good as real canon if it makes you happy. Just keep it to yourself or label it head canon.

You’re a terrible person, so gy kak off in yom. mh O_O mh

Sorry, maybe my point didn't get across. I completely agree that the character is a cis guy, now, it's gotten very clear from the character himself and the author as you said. My point is it is harmful to be so adamant to change on these types of manga where the main character is gender non conforming, aka, a cis guy who crossdresses. Maybe I did put my own ideals onto my argument, but I did clarify that it was my own interpretation.

What I tried to convey is that people change as time passes, you are not the same person you were a year ago, you live, you learn, you experience, etc, so you're identity can as well change the same way. Of course, in this case it was so utterly confirmed by the author and manga that is okay to say that they are a cis guy, but to some degree, it feels like you deny the character of any depth past their current self, and that can be harmful if you were to transfer these kinds of thoughts to real people.

I went from a cis guy to a femboy, staying like that through my high school years, just recently did i finally get to accept myself as a transgirl. If you were to say that "but you were so sure you were a femboy!!!" the same way you said that Hiura was a boy, I'd have taken a great toll on my mental health. I was simply afraid that if you would have kept that kind of mindset to not only manga characters, but real people, you could actually hurt them.

Also talking about Bridget, i think that's one of the best examples you could have put out. I was so excited when she came out as a trans girl, but I will wholeheartedly accept it if any new story developments, or anything like that makes her choose to change her identity, as long as she is happy (as a character ofc). I love her and she's one of my great inspirations, but I don't want her to be devoid of her character.

So yeah, I agree that Hiura is a gender non conforming cis guy, and bridget (my beloved) is a trangirl, I just don't want them to be just that, they can be so much more and have more depth as a character, and feel and change like a real human being.
Hope I got my point across and sorry if I seemed mean.

Edit: spelling. And wanted to add that the point about sounding like a femboy Bridget defender hurt me so much I actually agreed lol. I just didn't make it very clear what I wanted to say but I still stand by my point.
