not sure whether the author or publisher is the culprit of having this kind of ending, but its like having a friend that saw something from another class then tell you a story on what he saw, you invest interest in his story then he suddenly cut the story. you ask him to continue the story about what happen but your dear friend told you "oh you can put an ending base on your assumption on how should it will end" then you feel a sudden rush of blood on your head wanting to slap hard the back of head.
