why are you applying for entry level when you have masters and experience though. you should be finding backend jobs that suits your strengths unless you really want to do frontline stuff, in which case do frontline stuff and fuck that guy's opinion about your voice.

Unless it's a masters in a field with low demand you should more than able to be drawing a pay to live a decent life instead.

because none of those jobs are responding and they've been doing massive layoffs for awhile now, or atleast awhile ago, hence my position. I've been trying for something more appropriate for me for 2 years but haven't gotten anything, so, like the mc in that small metal slime dungeon manga finds out when he starts job hunting, I have to be willing to lower my expectations to find ANYTHING that would get me (back) into the field.

Thing is, standards were already crippled pretty hard a few years ago. My aunt working at another company who was helping me out pointed out just how much they reduced our pay from what it's supposed/used to be, nearly half. (her company didn't have any openings either). It's so bad that this entry level job paid almost as much and would pay more after a year...

Because his job is paying an experienced pro like him the same as a newbie the same wages. It's unfair and makes all that time and money spent on being a pro useless and unrewarding.

Shoutout to the dedication of MC, 3 whole years of training and he's still aiming to die on the frontlines. You'd think he'd have grown past the suicidal thoughts at this point considering he has friends and is doing well in everything besides the practical stuff (on purpose too). Probably forgot about his ex by now but still somehow thinks he should die because he isn't some rich kid (He got depressed because she said she doesn't see him moving up in life, but here he is prepping to become a high-ranking officer).

It can happen where you get so focused on a particular goal that you forget why you set yourself on that path in the first place. His motivation to die essentially shifted from "I hate this life" to "I want to die an awesome death!"
