I know the cold open already spoiled where this is going, but you can really see the lack of communication between the married couple and how the husband has kind of "switched off" on her. Even the buying of the treats she likes felt more like a guilty person trying to assuage their own conscience by "bribery".

It's an incredibly difficult subject to talk about between a couple. If they are not on the same page then it's better to split up

I mean, it's pretty ridiculous. I have a friend who's father and two brothers died in a car crash and he isn't scared of riding a car. Talk to the husband. Find a way. Overcome her trauma. Don't marry a man that wants to have a baby. It's quite literally our biological purpose and drive. Exactly. She's definitely right about "woman shouldn't be just baby making machine" but some man does want to have a baby of their own. It's quite literally our biological purpose and drive. She never even talked to him properly about all of this. I hate this kind of story ngl. It's very contrived. Her mother died during childbirth? How come her husband doesn't know that?
