@mommunism slapstick is literally some of the oldest form of comedy in animation. Expect it to die out the day people stop using the Hero's Jouney as a story structure
If it's not for you, cool. But sometimes you just wanna turn your brain off and get some cheap laughs in. Stoners have their content and I have my "lolrandom" content. Please understand.
Ahh, truly a philosophical piece of literature and art! Only true men of culture may take away the values of this philosophical piece of work. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
@raze2012 Animation used to be silent, so slapstick was one of the only forms of comedy available. It has massively declined since then, unlike the hero's journey. It also can be clever when there's more to it than "crash = funny", but there isn't in this chapter. You're free to chalk quality up to subjectivity, but it's in my interest to advocate for less lazy content. Please understand.
@mommunism an opinion vs. an opinion. I actually argue that I grow tired of the shounen trope of "get stronger self discovery" shtick. But a wacky misunderstanding hasn't gotten old.
