i mean, we barely got to know kisaki's side of things. even that extra chapter that finally did show us a sliver of her past, it barely hinted that fuyuki was her next love. but her step father was consistenly mentioned as how her infatuation over him killed her desire to love, and always told us at face value that all she wants is fuyuki to be happy.I don't know why everyone still saying that Kisaki still has feelings for her step father. Have yall not read previous chapter or what? From the conversation between kisaki and eri (also fuyuki), it's clearly implied that she's already long moved on from her step dad.
yep, if the main characters were fuyu and kisaki from the beginning and focused more on her than eri, then yeah i can see them ending up together. but this story was always a fuyu + eri story.I think they would have made a good couple but they need a ton more chapters for it to blossom into anything. If they were to move past their feelings it would work out but it would need to be fleshed out (it'll take a lot of chapters).
Who knows how long the author plans to keep the story going so if it's short it won't work out as it would feel rushed and feelings would have to resolved in unsatisfying manner.
Though in the end it doesn't matter as Fuyuki and Eri seem to be endgame unless the author decides to bamboozle us all and not let them end up together.
ykw, i always believed that monologue in chapter 10 was actually like a voiceover of Eri from the future. it's cool that the author made a throwback to it now.I know this isn't the talk most were looking for (we'll have to wait a bit more for that) but in my opinion it's still a very important chapter since it shows a bit of Eri's pov.
Ps: her monologue from page 13 is actually her monologue from chapter 10.
I'm sure Kanac could answer this directly with the reasoning, since I can only speak on our intent. But, we try to deliver what Is said without changing too much of the original writing. And we've talked in length about the "Like" vs "Love" and settled on what is in the posted chaptersI appreciate this fast release! the 2nd half of this chapter agonized me. my only problem is why did the translator use "like" instead of "love"? 大好き could mean either one, but i feel like "love" was the word meant to be used in this chapter. even in chapter 19, instead of "don't ever say you like me again!!!!" just doesn't sound or hit right as "don't ever say you love me again!!!!" anyway, just my 2 cents.
I know what kind of man you are. Thanks for the chapter! Always looking forward to this one!!
We don't know the exact nature of her feeling simple bc we don't see the point of view of Eri, but to be so greedy to the point of quitting dating just to be with fuyu without no one interrupt them, must tell you something.
Kisaki's just relieved Eri is willing to face Fuyuki properly. I doubt Kisaki would assume Eri is actually in love with Fuyuki though. She knows better than making such assumptions.About the kiss, it seems she got scared and apologies ( at that moment she thought that fuyu was in love with the senpai) so she didn't want to make upset fuyuki, but when she talk to the senpai and got a better view of everything she said to her that she don't want to give up on fuyuki or her feelings, even senpai said that she was worried for nothing.
Honestly, I get demi- vibes from Eri. She's stated before that she's fallen for partners after she's dated them for some time and gotten to know/gotten closer to them.
