Ugh, I hate when a manga ends right after a love confession. Let the characters actually explore their relationship afterwards. Like, Eri and the dude got even more screentime as a couple than Eri and Fuyuki...

Two chapters probably means we are getting a few pages long epilogue. There is a lot of clean up that needs to be done. This manga is supposedly ending in marriage too, so there is that.

Honestly, I don't mind the manga ending right after this. I would have liked to see more, of course, but most mangaka's track record post confessions is so, so, so terrible that I'm kinda glad it didn't... Fuck, I'm just as wishy-washy as Eri

It could be their own private wedding ceremony, or they could be attending someone else's wedding, but as a couple. You can have the ceremony regardless of legal status, just like they can wear wedding rings. The government can't really control that, and these happen in Japan. We'll see, though.

Whoever the girl was on the first panel could be getting married to someone else. There is no guarantee that Eri would fall in love with Fuyu the way she wants her to. It could just show the complicated nature of Eri's attachment to Fuyu and how entirely different their feelings are. To Eri, it's something normal, even if it was with someone as special as Fuyu. They were both risking what they had (each other) with Fuyu on the edge.

Nevertheless, I'm embracing myself because I don't really wanna feel too relaxed with how things could turn out. 2 chapters still seem a little too short to put all these in a wrap if they're not going to end up with each other, considering the fact that they just confessed and started going out, just for the last two chapters to show that they won't end up together.

That's why it doesn't make sense to worry about that. Having them get together then breaking them up in 2 chapters wouldn't just be a writing choice it would be silly writing and a way to mishandle their audience.

Also there's only 1 chapter left since the new chapter came out today, and nothing changed. Just more sweetness from them. I am interested in what the wedding scene will be though. I'm assuming they're guests or doing their own private ceremony.
