...which is unlikely to happen for eri, since in narrative terms she hasn't shown any interest in sex or anything related to it.
Again, the first kiss between Fuyuki and Eri was initiated by Eri, completely unprovoked. So this statement is factually wrong, at least to the degree you assert it with.

Give me the dumb reaction all you like. I think you've just completely misinterpreted the text and characters and that the coming chapters will prove me right. I'm confident in that. I'm sure you'd like to say that if Eri turns out to have a romantic and sexual relationship with Fuyuki it would be an unrealistic retcon or whatever, but to reiterate I think the way you've interpreted the characters up to this point just straight up is not supported by the text.

if we aren’t getting a forced ending there’s no way this isn’t going to crash and burn. no boundaries set between two people who are in dire need of boundaries between eachother. demisexuality or sexuality is moot - no matter how you cut this it was an immensely immature decision on their part and they are trying to desperately grasp at a solution between eachother while halfheartedly acknowledging things won’t be the same but there’s no genuine desire to form a new relationship. this being said relationships IRL are messy but messy relationships crash and burn HARD before it actually gets better. buckle up i guess.

Hmm that compromise felt a little bit skewed, but as far as I can tell neither of them want to be apart from the other for life, I just hope they maintain a distance for a while to figure out what they truly want to do in the future.

The ending kind of holds true to the title, “there is no love wishing upon a star”, the reality is that no one’s relationship will every be star crossed, there’s no such thing as a perfect couple. But the fear of things not working out shouldn’t stop you from trying, especially when these two hold eachother so near to their hearts, I hope everything works out for them, and even if it doesn’t, I hope they’ll be fine :)
