Of course the new ones are all digital and convenient in some ways, but they are impossible to repair economically and won't last that long, with either the endless plastic parts crumbling or the electronics frying themselves. But also professional machines have become worse. It's like they are all designed for Saudi-Arabia with minimal water consumption, but also have more flimsy plastic parts than the predecessors. Naturally professional machines have spare parts available, but the owner would rather see sturdier parts, not spare parts.
Btw, it's silly the woman would be the only customer using that place anymore. Her patronage alone wouldn't even pay the owner's electricity bills.
