If the objective was to strike fear in the hearts of enemy soldiers and win more admiration from allies, then a merciless curbstomp with overwhelming force would've worked better than a flashy but generally fair fight.

Yep, feeling even more sure this is trolling. There is no possibility コリント would ever romanize to the latter two. Not even MTL would get this wrong, it has to be intentional given that the licensed title has "Corinth" in it. Next chapter it's probably going to be different again. Corinto would probably be in that list at some point...
