This gets asked alot but it always boils down to
1 - Cloning is against Galactic Empire law and Alan forbid his subordinates from using it after he learned about the clone girls.
2 - there's been no evidence that their medical technology is advanced enough to do brain transplants even if they had another body.

1 - There is no way THIS kind of cloning is against the law otherwise the technology to clone wouldn't be on the shipt, like actual sentient humans being cloned i get it, but if the tech exist that means cloning body parts is something they do.
2 - That seems a little absurd, but i still would asume they could transplant the dying parts of the body, unless they are doing that already and it's delaying his death.

Comments have been pretty angry on this manga for awhile but I've been enjoying it. It's not going to break any records but I wouldn't call it bad.
It's more like people are complaining not because it's that bad, but more like it's worse than what the manga was or what it could be (at least that's the case for me)

I too, still enjoy the story, although, it's certainly not the best

The cancer is a nanite factory and communication system that integrated with Alan's nervous system. It's not just cancer, it's intelligent cancer that knows what you're doing and only needs a few nanites to rebuild itself. Replacing the liver would just mean that the liver gets reinfected and the entire factory rebuilt. Iris even says that the cause of the mutation of the nanomachines, what caused them to mutate in the first place, is unknown, so the nanite factory would just come back.

Like @Hootanic said, they will probably have to appeal to the Goddess, since she's the one who used the nanites to hack into Alan's brain.

Interesting, so it's not a canser, but something what is infecting the nanomachines, and that's the reasone why he can't be healed.

This one was better than the past few chapters, it feels like there's actually some semblance of a plot happening again. I don't even mind Alan being sidelined, but the whole nanomachine cancer thing still kind of rubs me the wrong way. I'd have much rather we followed these two because Alan is too busy ruling with Celeria, and not because the goddess randomly decided to curse him with nanocancer despite her appearing to have been on mankind's side in the past.

And still no information on the bugs in four years? No information on the spy who knew about nanomachines?
