Not really. Exercise isn't really a good way to lose weight in general. As you train, the body adapts to the new load and becomes much more efficient at using stored energy, so you soon end up burning more or less the same amount of calories as you would've if you didn't exercise at all. But exercising gives like 100 other benefits, so it's still totally worth doing. For example, aesthetically speaking, building muscle and improving posture makes you look better, even if you don't reduce your body fat percentage. But if you want to lose weight, you have to eat fewer calories per day. That's really the only way that works consistently.

I can tell there are multiple issues with the translation. "From Jamaica" was another.

Itou is annoying as fk; yeah, unlike Imashita(deputy manager that likes Murata), who has actually been supportive of him since his previous relationship, this dude is just a selfish, maybe a bit narcissistic ahole =01. Hell, I'd think Ikeda(Tomoka's prev manager) has a better conversational flow with Eguchi than Itou does . Itou must be a virgin. And this new girl coming out of nowhere is a bit much, AND seems like a female Itou basically.

I feel kinda bad for Imashita, because she's probably liked Murata since he was dating his ex, but was a bit too late to step up to the plate(assuming it'd work out anyways, as Murata seemed uninterested, but not sure if that's because he already enjoys Tomoka's company or not). Regardless, Murata team will get a new employee, and I imagine that it'll be a guy who likes Imashita. Hopefully this new employee(if its a guy) is someone I want to root for, because Imashita seems like a good woman from what I can tell.
