well the moment he choose to be the red of reds again, knowing he had like 3 other elements vastly superior and one of the main things from all around the series being the scope... we knew the author f*cked up.

when pretty much all of the readers were expecting for the shithead to revive, that's not good.
So we could get some BS, like the MC thanks to his time magic enters a similar situation as the villain (making his own time capsule to train for years in like a second, so he returns the BS and then go back in time to "save" the rest 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

@Tych then you're making a bad comparison, Freezer (also Goku) learned to master their power (goku learned to use the awakened state mostly "thinking", while actually moving to train gohan in the Cell arc), Freezer already had the golden form but he learnes how to use it in hell without moving.

this guy attained and mastered new magic while he got the worm on his head, because it was already mentioned he got cut his magic lanes.

Author messed up in writing and made this illogical mess that breaks the immersion.

Next chapter: MC will go in time capsule himself and train for a million years, beat him and save milly. I don't believe for a second that they would kill her off and put MC in a position where he can't get out.
Or we might get a sudden ending rivaling GoT ending in how bad it is.

@Knighto The only thing that is completely inconsistent is the idea of "magic lines" in a person.


If we think of it similarly to meridians from a cultivation manga, someone that has broken/damaged meridians can't cultivate(or can ONLY cultivate their body), no matter how much cultivation knowledge they have. Granted this obviously only seemed similar in that specific aspect. However, it's it completely stupid that someone that had NO/ZERO magic lines in them, could train in magic simply because he had the knowledge? Even if he trained simply in his mind. In real life, out side of his imagination, his body wouldn't be able to follow what he trained in his mind. Simply put, he has no mana, nor magic lines. I get that the mind if insanely powerful, but to will something out of thin air? What kind of shit is this?

I'd be kinda surprised if this got solved by the MC time capsuling himself and training, considering all the other chars that also got murdered in this chapter, it seems a bit much if they're permanent deaths just meant for shock value. After all, the previous chapter said that the world "will" end today, not "almost end", so I think this timeline's come to its close here.

The series started with him turning back time with a magic of his own creation, so I feel like he's gonna use some plot device to gather enough power to do it again on a smaller scale to get out of this mess. Then they can stab the dude while he's still in prison, or something. Or I guess it could be a combo of the two too, go back in time and stick a spider on Zeff's head too so they can have their duel before any of this happens.

Fair enough. I haven't really read this manga to be honest. Read a few chapters last year and put it on my plan to read list and never got around to it. Saw a new chapter was released so curiosity got the better of me and yeah. Reverse time and doing as you said sounds more logical. Thought he reincarnated with his memories like every other good ol' isekai manga

The bullshit villain has no mana. He has no fuel to activate any magic at all. He said he "reconstructed" his magic line, but it's bullshit, he can only command his mind, he has no control of his body and magic line is "real" thing in his body, he can't do shit about it. If he use another source like life force (HP) or somehow has another source from somewhere else, it would be ok, but no, he literally just I want to use magic so I just use it.
His bullshit "magic system" has no practical practice, all he does is think it out in his head. His mind at that time is in a blank mental room. He doesn't have any test in his "actual world" test to see if it is an actualy work and is there any problems, mistakes. He literally just think it should be like that and it be like that.
His bullshit magic effect is ridiculous. It boost his weaken body to the point it has the superhuman strength and speed and endurance and regen, allowing him to stand on air, not fly but stand lazily on air, nuke city, create and control extremely multiple harsh fire.
This is fucking omnipotent, for no fucking reason at all.

Im the type of person that would read trash or really basic plot mangas and still get enjoyment out of them but, GOD DAMIT THIS PLOT TWIST IS GARBAGE.
