If this happened in real life then this would be the most ballsy move any kingdom has ever done. This would go on the history books for ages

The timeline here doesn't really add up.

It's been established that the ceasefire has been in place for 30 years. If the ruler at the time was a woman, that would suggest the Queen Dowager, which would mean her baby son became the current king. But if the king is only around 30, it wouldn't make sense for him to have an adult son (aka Prince Alfred).

So maybe the baby was actually the king's younger brother? But then we have to conclude that the future king was already married to his first wife back then but waited a decade before having children, because otherwise he would have been slated to marry the princess from Towair. And that seems unlikely.

The alternative is that current king's first wife was actually the Queen who reigned over the ceasefire. Which means that (a) Prince Alfred is way older than ge looks, and (b) the current king actually married into the royal family. But then it wouldn't make sense as to why, when the queen died, the throne passed to the king instead of to her son Alfred.

Basically, no matter which was you slice it, the numbers just don't add up.

No, isekai was just a terrible excuse for her to have knowledge of modern society. Not only does it not really contribute to the story, but it was poorly executed and extremely rushed and then brushed over.
The only things we got out of it are deserts and social reforms(aka, her cheat ability), and a complex dual ego that matters so much that the author MENTIONS it, and then never does anything with it. It's basically just a fantasy, but our main heroine was taught of our scociety via a divine revelation. The other girl is just dead
In the novel, the dual thing is a bit more relevant. Like about everytime Berne is involved(in iris pov), in the original engagement annulment scene and pretty much everytime Iris thinks about it and a few more times besides. But as it's usually got to do with feelings or is in an internal monologue, it really doesn't translate well in a manga format.

yuri is obviously doing it for the other kingdom. pretty smart of her, actually; to be able to control all those guys is interesting.

so towair is still trying to get the kingdom after generations huh,why didn't the two countries establish a peace treaty -- and not just a ceasefire -- during that time? this is happening because the war isn't over yet (just ceasefire) and both countries/kingdoms are still cautious of each other.
Towair Is lacking in natural resources. Which means that percentage, maybe even a considerable one, of its ppl are dying of starvation. But if the war had dragged on, they would have lost/died out. Whereas Tasmeria would've suffered only heavy losses.

So in the case of towair, it was a war of necessity and then a ceasefire of necessity becuz there was only either ceasefire or fight until total annihilation. If there was a peace treaty, for towair it would've only meant a slow death. They'd just been bidding their time and gathering their forces, so they could maybe attack in a different way(like from the inside) to weaken Tasmeria so their gathered forces would be enough to win.

Tasmeria only defended itself when attacked and suffered heavy losses, that could still potentially destabilize the country. Cuz the nobles have their own land and could secede from Tasmeria if it looks like staying would bankrupt them or something. In the middle of war, the royal family couldn't have spared anyone to stop the seceding nobles. And once enough nobles secede, taking with them their land, resources and manpower. Any country from the surrounding could've destroyed it easily.

So, both countries reluctantly agreed to ceasefire out of necessity. Peace treaty would only benefit one, so it is very unlikely in the current situation. Hence, the two countries are in a cold war situation, where hostilities could erupt any moment.
