While reading his lines in the web novel, I always imagined a very calm and respectful John Pinette, but now that we see his face, I don't think a calm and respectful John Pinette works. It's probably because I imagined him to be a bit fatter than what he's shown to be here. He's got a Mario face, so maybe something rougher?

Also, John Pinette passed away, so he's not dubbing any anime... Also the anime doesn't look that great anyways, so this was never going to work.

Also, I don't know why, but when the WN described bears carved into her knives, I imagined the pommel actually carved into the shape of a bears head, not just an image on the side.

I think the ln illustrations did have a bear head carved into the pommel of the knives.

Honestly, likely not. Even without Infrequent Scans picking it back up, I found out near the end that MangaBuddy has already been translating this series and was way ahead of me, so even if I did return to scanlating, I don't think I return to this series

She's fighting an Ice Dragon, and her Mithril knife can cut its hide somewhat with effort but hardly to the point of it being a huge injury.

You know, all of this would be a lot quicker and easier if you provided a pic or something for what exactly you do see. Perhaps registering an account with the site would help you, you'll need one to make a reading list and keep track of what you've read anyway.

Late reply, and you may have figured it out by now, but Novelupdates had a change where you needed to make an account and log in in order to have the chapter links be clickable.

I used to be able to use the site without signing in, but finally made an account after I noticed all the links vanished one day like you saw.

i read an imperial ton (which is more than metric ton! ha!) of WNs
so should i make an acc there? i usually keep track of what im reading using a .xls and/or my favorite bar on my browser but...

I'm not sure if it would be any better than your current methods of update tracking, but it might be worthwhile to make an account for link access if nothing else, especially for any new titles you decide to look up.
