Tell your friend to get into the LN's, they are pretty cheap and usually on sale around $8 - $10 on *mazon, at the rate the manga is going the LN's get released one every 4-5 months, and the LN's are WAYYYY WAYYY ahead of the manga. Like, "jeez, is this even the same story." far away.

Honestly I like the massive number of Skills on every strong opponent displayed

It at least shows consistency in the worldbuilding that if you do something hard enough or accomplish something you haven't before, you obtain it as a Skill

So the protagonist isn't the only one who could unlock new Skills that way and the world feels more coherent

Also a great way to show power gap for dramatic effect

No, she cannot talk. Spiders don't have vocal cords.
She has been all this time talking inside her head (that's what you read). In fact, the appearance you see isn't how she really looks, but how she imagine herself (spider don't have necks to turn their heads).

The black spider on the background is how she really looks.
