my main question is that if Dark Magic can do all this cool stuff in general, why would no one at least have documented it, regardless of any negative stigma?
or is it that nobody has the attribute/affinity for it to cast it in the first place and the curse changed his attribute?
Shallow story, but that's tolerable. What the heck is up with the mc, like damn son, someone could take a fat dookie in his cereal and he would smile and devour it. Damn pathetic.

Prolly the classic "Dark Magic is too strong and I can't use it but these non-human dark elves can use it so I'll come up with something to make it seem bad and evil so nobody wants to use it/pursue it so I can be the strongest!" or some BS like that from the past, hence the need for the pact thing.
Overall interesting, but it'd depend on how quickly the plot will advance or what direction it's gonna take.
Its a pretty mid manga, but its not inherently bad or anything.
A safe 5 or 6 out of 10.
A decent quick read for when you are out of chapters on your main read.
The story is fine overall.
Its a story about a mage being exiled by stupid noble pride purely for the nobles pride and stupidity.
The mage is then forced to go on a journey of self discovery because of a curse the changes how his magic works.
Everyone thinks that his magic sucks, and he is somewhat shunned because of it.
its quickly shown that its purely based of superstition that other prominent magic users who are intentionally trying to hide the fact his type of magic is actually pretty good.
The characters other than the MC can be pretty funny and interesting at time too.
But the MC himself is flatter then a doormat.
