I remember reading this novel a long time ago,
the story is quite good BUT

the author just keep killing the side character that take so many chapter to develop no matter how hard the mc tried to save them.
example: i remember there's an arc where the mc have to defend the village or something from overwhelming enemy,he succeed.BUT
the author decide to just kill em all anyway,WHY? just cause..or to make the mc darker or something.

in short,i dropped the novel cause i can't see the point,the author just keep torturing the mc over and over.just because its need to be super dark like the novel name
if you like to see the mc get tortured and tortured again and again,i recommend this manga/novel

MC will always get rekt, no hope for weaklings, stronger people keep coming for him, MC will get stronger and still get rekt. Heroines are all YANDERE who wish for each other to die so they can be MC number 1. For those who read the WN you might be a dropper just like me. The story will only go downhill, don't ever think about happy ending. This series is SAVAGE AF
