I think it was from the start and she tagged along while waiting for a chance to strike all this time? Was she a guild employee? It's been a while.

If I remember right she’s a guild receptionist and she was the one who registered him and gave him info about the guild and stuff. Probably has the position to make it easier to find people that would be assassinated. It’s not an imposter
