Honesly, I am not sure the "general" douche is really a battle junkie, feels to me more like he is more out to prove he is as "strong" and "superior"as he "knows" he is. Not looking for a good fight as an ends in itself. He is attacking with an army meant to overwhelm, not face a tough opposition. A battle junkie is out for the fight itself he feels like he is out for the victory, a small but considerable difference.
