Seems like it’s just building up to the standard “ I tried but I can’t let my feelings go! I love you “ we always see in romance. Lemon is a cool girl and all but I’m not on her team.

Kogahara deserves her chance to not only learn to but also experience love, Sunao can absolutely make that happen. Lemon can easily stay his friend and the title still fits. Hell it could literally be him saying that to her while they’re on a double date.

That's... a little much.

But she's definitely in a shitty position right now. Any normal person in her shoes would be able to just walk away and put time and distance between themselves and the person they have feelings for, but know that they shouldn't pursue. Unfortunately for her, she's in his body half the time, so that's not an option.
