Funnily enough this was something she said in the very first chapter (which is not really canon at this point but still) that she can't date someone with this sort of baggage lmao.

The point of the body swap was to quite literally put them in each other's shoes so they end up reconciling their different perspectives on what happened when they used to date. They had drifted apart to the point of barely speaking to one another before it started happening.

This would be best. He might as well because it very much seems like this manga will follow the status quo. Especially after the “reveal” that basically told us he never stopped loving her. He just tried and failed miserably to convince himself he did.
