This has got to be one of the worst endings I've ever witnessed. It can't even be called an ending. This is unforgivable.
They'll just swap again the next day because they didn't sleep together

Don't read, Author - after years of making the story about a co-lead female romance - decided to throw her away.

Lemon takes up majority of the story-has her name in the title and even a bodyswap trope to further increase her relationship and repair/bond with the MC just to be thrown aside and for the Kogahara fans to be all smug/ahh holes "the story was about moving on!" - when in reality that's not the message or theme at all since day one.

Lemon is 1 in 100 unique female romance leads and it's upsetting we're just going to get another fumbled endings romance story due to a side character girl being chosen 💔

If you dont give some side characters the win, it will be so fucking boring to read any story with the same theme cuz you will know the ending from the beginning... It was a nice, not flawles, with some plot holes but good and intersting story.

Yeah, "concise" is NOT my strong point. Sometimes when I try to be I end up getting completely misunderstood and misrepresented. Sometimes happens when I'm long-winded, too, but at least then I can point out that there were things in my statement that contradict what was claimed.

And anyway, I was trying to go through several chapters that were very intense and packed with relevant information. Either way, I'm glad I was able to make it clear, kind of. I just thought it was ridiculous how people were going on about "peer pressure" or calling those stupid girls Lemon's "friends" and acting like she was trying to break up rather than her breaking herself trying to deal with the stereotypical "mean girls" and keep her boyfriend out of the drama.

Nah bro, keep it in book format, I kind of liked reading your comment, you seem like a emotionally intelligent reader, i liked the manga, but as you said it has some flaws, this misunderstandings that could be solved in a 5 min talk is kind of a trend that i do not like either. Honestly I rooted for Natsumi but absolutely loved Lemon and it I feel sad seeing the ending at her part even when she said she is happy.

There's a lot "title girl is the losing heroine" manga on the rise lately but heck it is not a genre I'm enjoyed. Good story overall but man I hate the aftertaste

Reading some of these comments genuinely gives me a headache, please don't listen to the doomposters and read if you're enjoying it.

I'll try my best to be neutral about my thoughts on this manga, I really did enjoy the read but ended up with some disappointments still.

First, I love it when the author really goes in depth into the 3 main character arcs. Talking about the chapters where we go into the past of Sunao, Lemon, and Natsumi. It really goes to show the development of who they were in school before coming into uni, and how they are still evolving as people. it gives me the view that author really does care about their characters, really giving them important backstory and personality, ESPECIALLY LEMON god she's genuinely one of the most fleshed out characters in fiction I've ever read. Natsumi herself as well, I find her incredibly relatable minus the fact I'm not a cute girl that has a nice guy chasing after me.

Side characters too were just the best, Raika and Suzuka were genuinely mvps, friends like them irl are just the best. I think I've said enough about the characters though, it's pretty agreeable that this is one of if not the strongest point of the entire manga, with art style probably being the 2nd best aspect of it.


Onto the disappointments though... wtf were those last few chapters???

I literally started binging this manga a week ago, I caught up to the latest few chapters and seeing as the status was still ongoing, I thought we'd have more content to go through (here I was at the part where Raika goes into her theory of the body swap), I continued reading and every page I went through gave me this sense of dread.

Alas, another rushed ending, fuck.

Theres many plotholes to be answered, mainly the one where if they don't sleep together again, wouldn't the body swap continue?? But atp I don't really want to dive into the details when the main problem, the most frustrating one, is that we don't get any sense of closure as the readers.

Ofc, I'm- Were more than privileged to read this content for free let's not forget that now. I'm genuinely happy for how everything turned out for our characters btw, Sunao and Lemon got their feelings cleared up, Natsumi is moving to a new stage in her life, finding her pride, and Lemon herself is moving on. But... that's it, no time jump (highkey the best way to end stories btw that's my take) to let us know what happened? Bro I wanna see Natsumi and Sunao tgt when she has that short hair from the earlier chapters PLEASEEEEE or even a short Lemon story where she finds someone new, HECK OH PLEASE SOMETHING ABOUT RAIKA AND SUZUKA WJIGJISJDIFIDH

But yes that's my main complaint, there's no closure. All in all it's still a very great read, one of the most fleshed out mangas ever with the most moving development and personalities.

Another unbelievably trash and cruel ending to an amazing character dude 💔 why has romance manga the past half decade been so terrible ??? I'm biased and wanted Lemon to win, she lost and okay I half accepted that, but literally the last page just being "I'm happy now...I guess" ... is the most brutal and shittiest thing this author could've done. I hope their career is a failure, but highly doubt with our day and age it'll happen. I don't even know what to say I'm just incredibly upset and the ending was shit.
