Nothing, she got Keisuke to buy her birthday cake for her to eat alone, and he refused her take payment for it, that character arc is still ongoing. It’s a sufficiently slow burn that I suspect it will reach its climax after Otobe gets rejected.

Really is sad that pretty much everyone is in agreement that this series blows. If it wasn't for hebikawa i don't mind it myself. But kusonoki really did not do well enough to garner any fans besides obviously the lonely Japanese. They really ought to of made her conflicting arc better because it's not exactly wrong but the density from said interaction between the 2 just isn't helping this series.

It's so good but so slow
It's nice to see all the characters in one spot again after all the date chapters
Hebikawa came back which is nice
I like how otobe and hebikawa finally met
It seems like war's brewing finally
And of course kusunoki is living in her own world oblivious
I swear i hope she becomes more of an active participant
Keisuke's doing all the work in their relationship
Otobe and Hebi carry themselves while kusunoki barely tries
Not the most engaging shit
I need to know they all fought hard in this war
So that kusunoki sadly wins i at least know they all tried their best
Instead of kusunoki getting the W easily handed to her without her even trying
It speaks volumes that the end of this chapter was the most memorable part about it
I forgot kusunoki was even in it
She needs to have more weight in her own series
I need her to earn her W not just be given it
At that point just hand it to Otobe if that's the case
If the series actually wants to try give it to Hebi for actually being interesting and having an arc

Just give Hebikawa the win. She's the only one trying. Regardless of all the stuff prior, I think she should make the move first and it'll probably work itself out in the end.

Because otherwise, we're regressing too much at such a pace we might as well be in a time machine.

It’s quite astonishing how many people gaslit themselves into believing that Hebikawa is after Keisuke because she genuinely likes him. She doesn’t. She’s only after him because she wants to get to Kusunoki; her worldview simply can’t acknowledge the existence of someone like Kusunoki.
