Even though the only thing they have in common is a Male MC who was looked down on in Middle school and had a glow up for High school, they do feel oddly similar. Although I guess Masamune wasn't actually hated in middle school but you know what I mean. I never got round to reading the Masamune sequel, I wonder if I should read it
