Yep, once again this dude is too spinless to elaborate on what he said, crazy how he tried to ask her "what do you mean by that" she tried her best to explain

But when he gets asked the same question he just hits her with the bullshit "who knows?" And "figure that out on your own" responses

Are you fucking kidding me? This kids really needs to grow up smh

Just because our snake queen decided to embrace her inner darkness (and chuunibyo) there is no reason for a snak arc to happen.

Also how does Keisuke go on living with only 1% of battery left?

If that's the case, I'm doubly glad MC didn't pick up.

Doubt anything major will happen, let the snake wait.
she's not having the best of time with her family dynamic; a late-night phone call to Keisuke of all people doesn't feel like a social visit, in her case.

I suspect something is actually going down no Hebikawa's end, but hopefully it won't be too bad, especially since Keisuke ignored the phone. It could be something as small as her being suddenly without a place to stay for the night, but the potential for more serious goings-on isn't impossible.

This hasn't been the sort of heavy title to this point where it might be a domestic violence issue per se, but I guess we'll have to see. If it is something serious, hopefully Keisuke doesn't beat himself up too much over ignoring her call, because even if it's Hebikawa, he's the sort to do that.

Whatever "someone special" may mean to Kusunoki, she seems pretty determined to not delve into whatever she might feel for Keisuke at this point.

She states she doesn't see them drifting apart, but she also said it might be a good thing that they hang out less going forward as she gets better at making/interacting with friends.

That feels like her putting up a hand to Keisuke on trying to pursue this further, at least for the time being. And with Hebikawa's ignored late-night phone call, I imagine something must be going down on her end that will pull Keisuke's focus from Kusunoki for a bit, anyway.

And that might end up being a good thing for him. He's likely to start spiraling if he keeps letting himself be sidelined as he watches Kusunoki become more and more popular and a nexus of attention, now that he's denied himself two chances to actually say what he feels.

Hebikawa will likely provide a distraction, and maybe he can grow a bit more and learn to assert himself via interacting with Snake-chan and helping her with whatever she's got going on (especially if it's Dad Stuff; him figuring out how to talk to/stand up to an adult will definitely help in the confidence/assertiveness category).

Dunno what'll happen between Keisuke & Hebikawa in the next arc, but that could also potentially push Kusunoki's feelings back to the forefront. Especially if Hebikawa ends up making a play for Keisuke, either because her feelings toward him actually grow, or as another part of her ploy to "see Kusunoki's Dark Side". Kusunoki might either not know, or refuse to reflect on, what she feels for the ML, but I can't imagine she'd just let him be taken away from her entirely, which is what Hebikawa would absolutely try to do.

Lots of potential plot points coming up, so I guess we'll see in a month or thereabouts.

I think the last panel is Hebikawa beginning her attack using seduction.. MC has leveled up a bit since the beginning but can he withstand a blushing snakeface pretending to want to get to know him better?

As always thanks for the translation, it seems to be a good idea to submit the chapters in parts to avoid confusion of lumping them together weeks apart.
