I’m not the type to nitpick a credits page, but for the love of all that is good in the world, please pick a font colour with more contrast against the background colour. My poor eyes 😭

All that said, I’m really enjoying this manga so thank you for your work scanlating it!
Haha, I may have been too focused on making the credits page match Kafka's colour scheme that I forget to check if the font colour was a good match for the background colour. I'll play around with it some more and find another colour (hopefully, that's also in Kafka's colour scheme) that contrasts the background better and adjust accordingly.

Thanks for the chapter but for real, what's with the last page man? 😭
Kafka jumpscare :dogkek: I wasn't expecting the image of Kafka on the credits page to be so big that it covers the whole screen when I uploaded on MD but I see this as an absolute win.

hehe, can’t wait for the ecchi scene in the next chapter :smugchisato: and I’m sure the head maid has misunderstanding about MC.

I’ll give Simple Spoiler summary light novel volume 2 with image novel. WARNING : Please Don't Click if you Hate Spoiler

Point: As usual, the other characters always misunderstand what the MC means by “Papa.” He just wants to become a MOB character so he does not get involved in dangerous stuff, but somehow he always ends up getting dragged into problems with the villains from the original game. And in the end, those villains become impressed by him and turn into his subordinates.

He also keeps making up stories as excuses, but then those stories actually come true. And it turns out the original game’s protagonist is female, but the MC is still in denial and keeps thinking the protagonist is male.

The comedy is honestly pretty funny. The MC is overpowered, but he keeps thinking the enemies are just too weak compared to the original game, and he still believes he himself is weak.

Character:
MC: Urtos Randol
Heroine 1, Maid: Riela
Heroine 2: Carla Orland, Teacher
Original Protagonist / Heroine 3: Sieg
Protagonist’s Father: Rein
Vice Captain of the Central Knights: Christiane
Villain > MC’s Subordinate: Eld, Empire Necromancer
Former S-Rank Adventurer > MC’s Subordinate: Enriq
Mayor > MC’s Subordinate: Gregorio

★ After Carla assumes that Urtos has started becoming interested in learning support magic, she decides to go to the magic academy. Carla feels a little relieved because her student, Urtos, is no longer only chasing raw strength.

Before they part ways, Carla gives Urtos a necklace-shaped magic item that she made herself. This necklace was originally supposed to be given to the true protagonist of the game. Since Urtos knows the original game’s story, he knows this necklace is basically a cursed item because it always brings bad luck. It is also one of the reasons Carla’s relationship with her older brother falls apart. Even so, Urtos still accepts Carla’s gift in the end.

★ Urtos receives an order from his father to attend a conference between two countries as his father’s representative, since his father cannot go. At first, he refuses, but after hearing that Rein and Sieg will also be joining as guards for Urtos’s group, he immediately changes his mind and accepts the order.

At that time, Urtos is confused about how to make contact with Sieg. Because of what he did, read Volume 1, Sieg has become a hikikomori in the village where she lives and is not training hard like Urtos expected.

★ Urtos tries all kinds of ways to become good friends with Sieg. Deep down, he hopes that if he becomes friends with Sieg, then when Urtos is ever in danger, he will be protected by the protagonist.

Sieg keeps acting cold toward Urtos because she really hates nobles and sees Urtos as someone weak.

★ Sieg’s father, Rein, misunderstands everything and thinks Urtos fell in love with his daughter, Sieg, at first sight.

Then Urtos tells Sieg that he believes Sieg will become a powerful hero, and that he is even willing to risk his life for Sieg. Urtos still thinks Sieg is a guy.

He uses his game knowledge, thinking that bathing together with a character will increase that character’s affection, but he ends up getting slapped by Sieg. Sieg is wearing a towel covering her body, so Urtos still does not realize that Sieg is actually a girl.

★ When they arrive at the conference location, Urtos goes looking for Sieg, who keeps going outside alone. After he finds Sieg training with a sword by herself, a Lich suddenly appears.

For Sieg, who has no mana, the Lich’s aura makes her fall into despair. Urtos immediately gives Sieg the necklace from Carla, which has a magic resistance effect.

Urtos, who Sieg sees as weak and cowardly, stands in front of her to protect her like a real hero. Urtos quickly tells Sieg to leave the area and call for reinforcements.

★ After Sieg successfully escapes from the place where the Lich appeared, Urtos’s presence completely changes. He easily defeats the undead summoned by the Lich with his bare hands.

When the Lich is about to use 5th-rank magic, Ifrit Flame, Urtos is already behind it and stabs through its chest with his bare hand. He knows the effect of Ifrit Flame would leave behind battle traces that are way too obvious, so he stops the spell before it can be used.

★ Pretending to be badly injured, Urtos returns to the hotel where Sieg is staying. On the way, he acts like someone on the verge of death in front of many people, and eventually reunites with Rein and Sieg.

Sieg cries hard after seeing Urtos’s condition. And Urtos, as usual, says some smooth ikemen lines to win Sieg’s heart and become friends with her. He tells her that he is just happy to see that Sieg is not hurt.

★ Ever since that incident, Sieg becomes closer to Urtos. She invites him to go out together, but when Urtos sees Sieg wearing a skirt, he assumes Sieg is just crossdressing because her father told her to.

Then Sieg invites him to a party on the final day of the two-country conference. Urtos originally wants to show everyone how handsome Sieg is as the protagonist who will become a hero in the future, but Sieg shows up wearing a dress.

Urtos, not wanting to show Sieg in a dress to other people, ends up making an ikemen move. He kabedons her and whispers that he does not want to let anyone else see Sieg like that. Of course, that makes Sieg totally flustered.

★ Urtos is accused of having a connection with Genesis, so Christiane arrests and interrogates him.

In the middle of the interrogation, a massive tremor shakes the entire city. Eld successfully activates 8th-rank magic, Absolute Death, which can summon undead without limit.

Christiane and the other knights immediately leave to fight the undead. Urtos, who is left alone, meets Enriq, Gregorio, and Riela, then they start planning how to deal with the problem caused by Eld.

Gregorio suggests using the chaos as a chance to escape, fake Urtos’s death, and let him move freely as Genesis. But that plan is rejected. Urtos plans to defeat Eld and fight him directly.

He orders his subordinates to meet Rein and Sieg, and protect them.

★ Urtos thinks the undead summoned by Absolute Death are extremely weak. While heading toward Eld’s location as Genesis, Urtos easily defeats the undead and the Empire soldiers along the way.

After reaching Eld’s location, Eld assumes Genesis is a swordsman and summons an undead kraken. Genesis has already used up a lot of mana fighting the undead and the Empire army, so he struggles and gets pushed back because he cannot get close to Eld.

★ Eld is shocked that Genesis is still alive after taking the Kraken’s attack. But seeing Genesis beaten up and having dropped his sword, Eld believes he has already won against Genesis.

Unexpectedly, Genesis uses 10th-rank magic, Sacred Judgment. By using the moonlight, Genesis purifies the undead and cancels Eld’s Absolute Death spell.

★ After being defeated by Genesis, Eld gives up and is ready to accept whatever judgment Genesis gives him. Eld is shocked when he learns that behind Genesis’s mask is Urtos, the noble’s son who was thought to be weak and had a bad reputation.

Urtos then uses Eld to erase the accusation that Urtos has a connection with Genesis. He pretends that he was being controlled by Eld.

Using his blood-covered body, he acts like he had been tortured by Eld before being controlled, and keeps begging Eld not to hurt Rein, Sieg, and Christiane.

It is all just acting. After Urtos successfully destroys Eld’s magic staff, the fake act of him being controlled by Eld comes to an end.

To sum up: plan to avoid the dangerous situation as well as you can. If you fail in this, run away and get Carla-sensei to fix it.

Thanks for the chapter! The black on maroon is hard to read on your credits page.
