Except following this line of action results in him dying very early, instead of upsetting plans of the villains early. He knows WHO are the villains, so he can just work from the shadows against them while changing his outcome for the best using his knowledge of various characteristics and events that will happen regardless. i also limit myself to 2 because i invest too much time on games i like, before Nikke, i was on Guardian Tales, note that i actually don't like the gacha system so, it was hard to actually start GT, friends tried hard to convince me, once they succeeded, i liked it, had to stop playing it at some point cuz i was forced to use a phone that couldn't handle GT(i could play Nikke with an emulator on pc when it came out and pc version also came out after a while.)
Nikke came later on, i did find it funny seeing all the jiggle from Volume when i saw showcases of it on youtube but, at the time i didnt let horny stuff attract me, it was actually from watching the end of the prologue that made me see that the game would have good story
at the end of the day, i'm still a man, i love seeing sexy girls from time to time

So for people not understanding, Ultos is trying to avoid his bad end, but also trying not to derail the plot. Him being scorned initially is what drives the heroine to the main character and then starting the plot. At this point he was originally supposed to have an orgy and get caught and blackmailed.

All Ultos wanted to do is avoid being blackmailed, which he has since he chose his maid and not the other girls who would have exposed him. However if he acts too noble, the heroine would go with him, and thus never meet the protagonist and start the plot normally. That's why he's acting like a scumbag towards her.
